In life, moments of loss and transformation shape us in ways we never expect. In 2020, everything changed with the loss of my mum - a guiding light, a source of strength, and the heart of home. That kind of grief reshapes a person, serving as a powerful reminder that time waits for no one. From that pain came a deeper understanding—growth is always possible, and potential runs deeper than imagined.
Our Journey
The journey to healing wasn’t straightforward. Small victories, like getting a driver’s license at 32, became symbols of breaking free. The open road reflected the desire to move forward, much like an eagle soaring high above the weight of the past. But even with new experiences and fresh horizons, anxiety lingered. The weight of loss, the pressures of daily life, and the stress of travel made finding a sense of security and calm more important than ever.
Our Vision
Between August and November 2024, while in San Diego, inspiration struck. Conversations with a close friend turned sketches and ideas into something tangible - something that could bring real comfort to those carrying unseen burdens. The idea was simple: create a hoodie that feels like a warm embrace, offering the same deep comfort as a hug when it’s needed most. Science backs it - weighted pressure has been proven to ease anxiety, regulate the nervous system, and provide a sense of calm in overwhelming moments.
